Production Method of Propylene glycol phenyl ether  :

Synthesis method:

(1) The substitution reaction with monochloromethane occurs to obtain the final product, propylene glycol phenyl ether. (2) Butyl acrylate was used as raw material to esterify phenol to produce butyl phenol propionate. Then, it is added with isopropyl alcohol to get the final product, propylene glycol phenyl ether. The advantage of this method is that the product quality is better, but the disadvantage is that the process is complicated and the cost is higher.

Direct oxidation method:

Propylene glycol and oxygen are directly oxidized to produce propylene glycol phenyl ether.
